9 am: What’s Bugging My Houseplants??
Learn how to take care of your plants, how to get rid of bugs, what plants are poisonous to pets, etc. When do I fertilize and how much? How often should I water?

10 am: Basics of Spring Pruning
Get your pruning questions answered!
What Shrubs or Trees should you Prune in Spring?
Do I prune my Lilacs or Hydrangeas in spring? What do I do about winter damage to evergreens? How much do I prune?

11 am: Seed Starting
Learn the basics of how to successfully start your own seeds at home, how to prevent damping off, when to transplant. Veggies, flowers, edibles, etc. will be discussed.

Miniature Gardens – Join us as we walk you thru the simple steps in creating an indoor miniature landscape using small scale plants, stone paths, forest moss and adorable accessories sure to create an enchanting garden. Real magic begins when elves, gnomes, fairies & friendly forest creatures come by to find a perfect place to live & play. Whether you are 5 or 105, mark your calendar for this fun seminar! Come and see why this hobby has become so popular for young and old.

Saturday, April 15-16: Join us at the Bismarck Event Center for the Dakota Garden Expo! You can attend seminars, shop all the vendors, and visit with gardening friends! Plant Perfect will have “Plant”astic sales on perennials and annuals! No need to pre-register!

Saturday, April 30 – 10:00 to 11 am: The Dirt on Urban Gardening: Growing your own Herbs & Vegetables. Whether you’re interested in growing your own produce because of high costs, concerned about having pesticide-free veggies or seeking a way to get back to basics, this seminar is for you! Starting with good dirt, we will talk about ways the urban gardener can increase productivity of our gardens, share information on varieties of veggies & herbs to grow in our area, learn about the value of raised beds, & crop rotation. Finally, learn ways to use, preserve and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Join us for the fun!

Tuesday, May 3 and Thursday, May 5 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm: Ladies Night Out!!

Plant an annual container that you will take home that night! A $10 fee will cover the class, a 12” utility plastic pot & dirt. If you prefer, you may bring your own pot. We will have a great selection of annuals for you to purchase suitable for any sunny or shady location. Please bring your own gloves & trowel & prepare for listening, learning & laughs! There will be a limit of 20 people per class so call early!
